About Us

From the Owner

I’m Ron Vecchio, owner of Minesweepers. I started the company in 2001 with a pretty simple idea: give Nassau County dog owners one less dirty job to worry about.

More than 25 years later...we're still doing exactly that.

Minesweepers provides professional weekly dog waste removal, one-time yard cleanups, goose waste cleanup, and commercial pet waste services throughout Nassau County.

We're not a national franchise. We're a local, owner-operated business, and I'm still directly involved in the company every day. When you call or text Minesweepers, you can actually reach me. I think that's one of the reasons we've been around as long as we have.

What We Do

Our regular dog waste removal service is pretty straightforward: we come to your property on a scheduled basis, thoroughly clean the yard, remove the waste, and make sure the gate is closed when we're finished.

You get a clean yard without spending your free time walking around looking for what your dog left behind.

We also provide one-time cleanups for yards that have gotten away from you, seasonal cleanups, goose dropping cleanup, and commercial pet waste services for properties throughout Nassau County.

Why Minesweepers?

I've always believed this business should be simple.

Show up when we're supposed to. Do a thorough job. Respect the customer's property. Close the gate. And be there when somebody needs to reach us.

There are no long-term contracts, our advertised residential prices include sales tax, and we've spent more than two decades building our reputation one yard at a time.

We've seen a lot change since 2001, but the reason people hire us really hasn't changed at all:

They have better things to do than pick up dog poop.

And frankly, I don't blame them. That's why we're here.

Proudly Serving Nassau County

Minesweepers serves communities throughout Nassau County, Long Island, with dependable residential and commercial pet waste removal.

Whether you're looking for weekly service, need a one-time cleanup, have a property covered in goose droppings, or just want to know what service would cost at your home, we're happy to help.

Thanks for considering Minesweepers. I truly appreciate every customer who trusts us with their property and their pets.
